Dhaka-Chottogram-Sylhet rail link halted
12 wheels of a cargo container derailed in Dariapur of Brahmanbaria due to excessive heat. As a result, train movement between Dhaka and Chittagong and Sylhet on the upline has stopped.
This incident took place in Dariyapur area of Brahmanbaria on Thursday (April 27) afternoon.
Brahmanbaria Assistant Station Master Md confirmed the matter. Jassim Mia. He said that work is going on to normalize train movement. However, he did not say anything about when the situation would be normal.
