Tourists flock to Kuakata during 3-day holiday!

Thousands of tourists have thronged Kuakata beach in Patuakhali. Kuakata beach is now full of tourists due to the three-day public holiday including Buddha Purnima.

The arrival of tourists can be seen in Kuakata since yesterday Thursday (May 4) morning. Even though tourists did not come as expected during the Eid holiday, the tourist centers are busy with tourists. As a result, sales have increased in tourism-related businesses.

On Friday (May 5), it can be seen on the surface, the tourists are enjoying themselves with the waves of the sea. Many people travel by water bike, beach bike, motorcycle or horse. Many are sitting on the beach bench and enjoying the waves crashing on the seashore. The activities of the tourist police in the security of the arriving tourists were worth seeing.

At the zero point of Kuakata beach, Zahirul Islam, who was shaking with the waves of the sea, told Dhaka Post that Thursday is a holiday for Buddhapurnima. Friday and Saturday are weekends. I got a total of three days off and came here with my whole family. My kids love Kuakata Beach a lot. It's a nice place to spend time for me too.

Shubo-Ishrat couple from Dhaka said, I have visited the entire Kuakata beach. Very nice place. I want to come again if I get a chance.

Abul Hossain Raju, Managing Director of Green Tourism, said that thousands of tourists visited Kuakata today on the occasion of three consecutive days of government shutdown. Hope to be able to provide good service to the tourists and we will also benefit.

General Secretary of Kuakata Hotel-Motel Owners Association. Motaleb Sharif said, we are ready to provide round-the-clock service to tourists during the three-day long holiday. Many tourists from different parts of the country come to Kuakata. 70% of our hotels are booked.

Kuakata Tourist Police Zone Inspector Hasnain Parvez said that the arrival of tourists in Kuakata is a little more than before. We are working for maximum safety of tourists. The Tourist Police is always ready to serve the tourists for any need.
