Prime Minister`s tribute to Bangabandhu`s portrait
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
On Friday (March 17) at 7:50 a.m., the Prime Minister paid his respects in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Dhanmondi 32.
First he paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait as Prime Minister. Later, as Awami League president, Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait with the top leaders of the party.
After paying tributes to the Prime Minister, various political, social and cultural organizations, including affiliated and fraternal organizations of Awami League, are paying tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait.
Earlier, on the occasion of Bangabandhu's birthday, the ruling Awami League hoisted national and party flags at the capital's Bangabandhu Bhavan and party offices across the country in the morning.
