Serajul Alam Khan no more
Veteran politician Serajul Alam Khan (Dada Bhai) has passed away (Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun). He breathred his last on Friday (June 9) at 2:30 pm while receiving life support in the ICU at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
Brigadier General Nazmul Haque, the hospital's director, has confirmed the news.
Earlier, the ailing Serajul Alam Khan, often referred to as the enigmatic figure in Bangladeshi politics, was admitted to DMC.
Subsequently, on June 1, he was transferred to the ICU. As his condition worsened, he was placed on life support on Thursday night (June 8).
