5920 Hajj pilgrims return to Bangladesh in two days

Hajj pilgrims has started returning to Dhaka after the Hajj ceremony. 5 thousand 920 pilgrims have returned to the country in 16 flights since the return flight started on July 2 and till the morning of Monday (July 3). The Ministry of Religion has announced that 70 pilgrims have died while performing Hajj. Among them, 11 people died on Monday.

This information has been given in the latest Hajj bulletin of the Ministry of Religion. Airlines, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Hajj Office in Dhaka and Saudi Arabia have given this information to the help desk.

According to the information, 5 thousand 920 people returned to the country on July 2 and 3 in 16 flights of three airlines. Among these 16 flights, 2 flights operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 7 flights operated by Saudia Airlines and 7 flights operated by Flynas.

On the other hand, 70 pilgrims have died while performing the holy Hajj this year. Yesterday this number was 59 people. 11 people died in one day. Among them 54 men, 16 women. Most of them died in Makkah 56, Madinah 4, Mina 7, Arafa 2 and Muzdalifah 1.

It is to be noted that a total of 1 lakh 22 thousand 884 people including government and private management members from Bangladesh went to Hajj this year. Out of this, Biman Bangladesh Airlines transported 61 thousand 151 pilgrims in 159 flights.

Saudi Airlines transported 41 thousand 468 pilgrims in 113 flights. Flinus Airlines transported 20 thousand 236 pilgrims in 53 flights.
