10 districts get new DC

The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DC) in 10 districts of the country. New Deputy Commissioners have been appointed in Dhaka, Gazipur, Comilla, Rangamati, Bandarban, Tangail, Pabna, Shariatpur, Laxmipur and Feni districts.

On Thursday (July 6) the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard.

According to the notification, DC of Gazipur Anisur Rahman to Dhaka, Deputy Secretary of Public Security Department Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan to Rangamati, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Shah Mojahid Uddin to Bandarban, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to Prime Minister's Chief Secretary Kaycharul Islam. Tangail and Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to Home Minister Asaduzzaman have been made DC of Pabna.

Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to Deputy Minister of Water Resources Arifuzzaman to Shariatpur, Deputy Secretary attached to Finance Department Suraiya Jahan to Laxmipur, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Khandaker Mushfiqur Rahman to Comilla, Deputy Secretary Attached to Economic Relations Department Muchammat Shahina Akhtar Feni and Power Department Deputy Secretary Abul Fate Mohammad Safiqul Islam has been made DC of Gazipur district.
