Expatriates send $197.30cr remittance in July
The expatriate Bangladeshis sent remittances of around $197.30 crore (equivalent to about Tk 21,407 crore) in July, the first month of the current fiscal year 2023-24.
The amount is about $22.60 crore less than that of June when the country saw $219.90 crore in remittance, Bangladesh Bank said in its updated report on Tuesday.
The amount is, however, around $12.33 crore more compared to the same period of FY 2022-23 when the country received $209.63 crore in remittance.
