Bongo Bazar: The fire is under control
The fire in the capital's Bangabazar has come under control. The fire was brought under control after about six and a half hours of efforts of 48 units of the fire service.
A small message from the control room of the fire service informed that the fire was brought under control at 12:36 pm on Tuesday (April 4).
It is said that the fire of Bangabazar was brought under control at 12:36.
Earlier on Tuesday, the fire service received information about the fire at 6:10 am. And reached the spot at 6:12. Initially, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage was not known.
Businessmen say that Bangabazar is the largest wholesale cloth market in the country. The business of this market has gradually accumulated since the beginning of Eid-centered fasting. Bangabazar's shopping started to accumulate this year as well. But a sudden fire took away all the traders.
They could not do good business during Eid last few years due to Corona. It was hoped that the losses of the last few years would be recouped this time. But the rules left! The fire in the market early on Tuesday turned their dream into a nightmare. Eid dreams of businessmen are on fire.
