Advance sale of train tickets starts from today
On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, advance train ticket sales are starting today from Friday. This time 100% tickets will be sold online.
Recently, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said that the sale of advance tickets for Eid will start from April 7. All tickets for Eid journey and return will be sold 100% online. Besides, the sale of Eid return tickets will start from April 17.
The minister also said that 9 pairs of special trains will run this year to reduce the pressure on Eid.
Nurul Islam Sujan also said that the international train Mithali Express will be closed from April 18-27 and Maitri Express from April 20-27 ahead of Eid.
