Bangladesh announce squad for Asia Cup 2023

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced 17-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup on Saturday (August 12).

Shakib Al Hasan will lead the team. It was announced yesterday that Shakib would be the captain of Bangladesh in the upcoming Asia Cup, New Zealand series, and ODI World Cup.

Asia Cup will begin with the match between hosts Pakistan and Nepal on August 30 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in their first match on August 31 in Pallekele.

Shakib Al Hasan (c), Litton Das, Naim Sheikh, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Tawhid Hridoy, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman, Ebadot Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Shamim Hossain, Afif Hossain, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam.
