Those who are missing IPL despite getting a team

This season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is starting at the end of this month. Despite getting a team in this world's most popular franchise event, many cricketers are not getting into the field in the end. This list includes stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant or Kyle Jamieson.

Royal Challengers Bangalore's Will Jacques has been ruled out of the IPL due to a muscle injury while fielding in the Bangladesh-England second ODI in Mirpur recently. Bumrah, on the other hand, is yet to recover from his back injury. He recently underwent surgery.

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant met with a car accident on 31 December 2022 and is still battling multiple injuries. He is going through the process of getting fit.

According to recent reports, Shreyas Iyer also missed the first part of the league due to a back injury. Moreover, he has been dropped from the upcoming ODI series against Australia at home.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians' Jhai Richardson is also going to miss the tournament. Because he recently underwent a surgery due to a hamstring problem. England's star batsman Jonny Bairstow also suffered a golfing accident in September 2022. He also had to undergo surgery due to the injury. There is considerable doubt whether Punjab Kings will get this English star at all.

Chennai Super Kings' Kyle Jamieson is battling a stress fracture in his back and will also miss the upcoming IPL season.
