Bangladesh`s record win!

Ireland has been overwhelmed by Bangladesh's run hill. The Irish batting lineup has collapsed like a house of cards in pursuit of a big target. The visitors could not score more than 155 runs in the face of Taskin-Ibadat's cannon. As a result, Bangladesh won by a big margin of 183 runs. Which is the biggest win by runs in their ODI history.

Bangladesh scored a record 338 runs after losing 8 wickets after the scheduled 50 overs at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday (March 18). Where the two middle order batsmen Shakib Al Hasan and Touhid Hriday have made a big contribution. In response, the visitors scored 155 runs after playing 30 overs and got all out.

Chasing the daunting target of 339 runs given by Bangladesh, Ireland were initially under pressure due to slow batting. Taskin-Mustafizra squeezed the two Irish openers Stephen Dhoni and Paul Sterling from both ends. The visitors did not lose any wicket in the first six overs but put up 23 runs on the scoreboard. And the required run rate of the Irish increased to over 7.

The two Arish openers then tried to play aggressively to reduce the initial pressure. They got some success in the counter attack. The Irish scored 28 runs in the last 4 overs of the power play. At the end of the opening power play, Ireland added 51 runs to the scoreboard without a wicket. After that, the opening pair of the Irish could not go much further. Shakib Al Hasan brought Dhoni back to the dressing room before it became dangerous. He scored 34 off 38 balls before being caught behind the wicket in the second ball of the 12th over by this spinner.

Paul Sterling could not last long after Dhoni's return. This opener stopped for 22 runs with a four and a six each. Ebadat Hossain bowled the second ball of the 13th over slightly short length. Realizing that in advance, Sterling went to pull but due to the extra bounce of the ball, this opener could not do the timing properly. The ball touched the edge of his bat and fell into Mushfiqur's gloves. Experienced Mushfiqur was excellent behind the wicket that day.

After returning Sterling in the previous over, he also returned Harry Taktor in his next over. Just like a carbon copy of the previous over! The only difference was the batter, with Tactor replacing Sterling. This time too the second ball of the over was shot length and the batter was caught behind the wicket while trying to pull. 3 runs from 8 balls came from Taktor's bat before returning to Sajghar.

After taking two wickets in two consecutive overs, Tamim attacked the pace from both ends. And Taskin returned the captain's trust by returning to the bowling. The pacer bowled Barlbirni directly in the third ball of the 16th over. Before that, 5 runs came from the bat of the Irish captain. The Irish could not get a run from any of Taskin's balls in this over, as a result he got a wicket maiden.

Taskin returned to the attack in his next over and found the wicket again. This time his victim is money. The pacer bowled the first ball of the over at a shot length and kept it outside the off stump, where the wicketkeeper batsman was caught by Yasir Rabi while playing the on side. 6 runs came from his bat. Taskin did not give any runs in the remaining balls of the over, as a result of which this pacer got two wicket maidens in a row.

After losing the first wicket for 60 runs, five top-order batsmen scored 76 runs. George Dockrell and Curtis Camper tried to pull the team from the brink when the Irish lost 5 wickets for 16 runs.

Both of them tried their best in the sixth wicket. However, he was helpless in front of the bowling attack of Bangladesh. The visitors crossed a hundred in their pair. But the pair did not go far after the team's runs touched three digits. Nasum Ahmed broke this pair of 33 runs by returning Camper who scored 16 runs.

Nasum bowled the fourth ball of the 24th over to full length off and on middle stump. Camper missed the line while defending due to the slight turn of the ball. When the ball hit the leg directly, the umpire responded to Nasum's request. But this Irish all-rounder could not be satisfied with that. As a result, he took a review. But even that did not save him.

Nasum returned to bowling in his next over and became even more formidable. The spinner also sent back Andrew McBrien after trapping Gareth Delaney leg-before for 1 on the fifth ball of the over. McBrien could not open the run book before Mushfiqur was caught. This is Nasum's third victim in the innings.

Dockrell kept one edge even in such a procession of batters. No one could give him worthy company. His 45 only narrowed the deficit. In the end, after playing 30 overs and 5 balls, Ireland scored 155 runs and got all out.

Earlier Bangladesh team lost the toss and went to bat first. But the beginning was not good for them. Opener Tamim Iqbal departed with a slip caught by Irish pacer Mark Adair after a personal 3 runs. After that Liton Das and Nazmul Hossain Shanto handled the initial pressure. However, Liton also returned to Sajghar during the team's 49 runs. He scored 26 off 31 balls before being bowled by Paul Sterling off Curtis Kampfer.

After that, Shakib Al Hasan took the responsibility of taking the team forward and remained calm. But this pair could not go far. Shanta Sajghar returned to the team with 81 runs and scored 25 individual runs. Still at the other end, Shakib is steady with the bat. Then the anointed Tauhid Hridoy came to the wicket. Formed a big pair with Shakib. On this day, Shakib touched his milestone of 7000 runs in ODIs.
At the other end, the anointed heart also played well and took the first half-century of his career. Although both had chances of a century in front of them, neither could reach the magic figure. Shakib departed after 93 runs. Graham Hume delivered a yorker type well outside the off stump. Shakib tried to play from a distance. The ball hit the outside edge of his bat and went into the hands of keeper Lorcan Tucker. Shakib started walking towards the dressing room when the umpire announced the out decision.

After the departure of this all-rounder, the heart started beating. At the other end, Mushfiqur Rahim played a tornado innings. This Tiger cricketer is experienced in hitting one boundary after another in aggressive batting. However, Mushfiqur departed before reaching his half-century in the end. This wicketkeeper batsman hit the pavilion by scoring 41 runs off 25 balls.

Hridoy was still fighting with the bat. However, despite raising the possibility of a century on debut, it was not found. Nehayet forehead evil! Like Shakib, the young batsman was also cut in a nervous ninety. The fifth ball of the 46th over by Graham Hume fell at a good length and was coming along the leg stump, where Hriday looked to turn and play a lofted shot over midwicket. But there was no bat-ball connection and the ball hit his wicket directly. In the end, Hriday's innings was bowled out for 92 runs, the team's score was 297.

Then Yasir Ali Rabbi tried to take the lead for the team. However, at the other end, Tasikon Ahmed returned with 11 runs. After being cut off in a run out, Rabbi Feren scored 17 runs. Nasum Ahmed remained unbeaten on 11 runs. At the end of the scheduled 50 overs, Tamim Iqbal's team collected 338 runs after losing 8 wickets. Graham Hume was the best bowler of the innings collecting the maximum 4 wickets for the Irish.
