BAN vs IRE : Bangladesh in batting
In the second ODI in Sylhet, Ireland decided to field first after winning the toss. Bangladesh is entering the field today with one change in the XI. Mustafizur Rahman has been rested. Hasan Mahmud returned to the XI in his place.
Hasan played the first match of the ODI series against India last December. In that match, the right-arm pacer, who was wicketless with 40 runs in 7 overs, returned to the XI after five matches.
Off-spinning all-rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj, who suffered an eye injury due to a football injury before the first ODI, was not included in this match either.
Bangladesh has already taken the lead in the series by winning the first ODI. Bangladesh's series will be confirmed only if they win in Sylhet today. On the other hand, the Irish have no option to win this match to survive the series.
The visitors made a change in the match to keep hope alive. Matthew Humphreys makes his debut in place of leg-spinning all-rounder Gareth Delaney.
Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal (Captain), Liton Das, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tauhid Hriday, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadat Hossain, Hasan Mahmud and Nasum Ahmed.
Ireland XI: Andrew Balburnie (captain), Mark Adair, Curtis Camper, Matthew Humphreys, George Dockrell, Steven Doheny, Graham Hume, Andrew McBrien, Paul Stirling, Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker.
