IND vs PAK : India opt to bat
Palekel sky covered with black clouds since morning. Attention cricket lovers too. Due to political conflict, India and Pakistan do not face each other without a major tournament. The Asia Cup stage has once again ended that wait. However, the fear of rain has hindered the intense fight of the two arch-rivals. Even before the start of the game, it was reported to be drizzling.
But the hope is that the two captains Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam have tossed at the appointed time with the fear of rain in mind. India won the toss and elected to bat first in a high-voltage duel. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 pm Bangladesh time unless delayed by rain.
Babar Azam's Pakistan showed a surprise by announcing the XI 19 hours before the start of the match against India. Earlier, a day before the opening match of the Asia Cup, Pakistan had given the XI against Nepal. Pakistan is coming against India with the team against Nepal.
On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer returned to the Indian team after recovering from injury. However, pacer Mohammad Shami is out. Mohammad Siraj got a chance to replace the Indian pacer. Regular pacers Bumrah and Siraj are accompanied by pace all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur.
However, there are no surprises in the batting order. Shubman Gill can open with Rohit. Virat Kohli will come at number three. Four shrews. Ishan Kishan will probably come at number five. Then two all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Shardul Thakur can play at eight.
