BAN vs IRE : Ireland won the last T-20 match
Ireland got a consolation win in the last T20 match of the series against Bangladesh. The visitors started to show their power from the start on Friday at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The Irish ended the white ball series with a 7-wicket win against Bangladesh. Even if Bangladesh loses this match, Taskin Ahmed always wants to play with such an approach.
At the press conference after the match, Taskin said, "Maybe our batting collapsed today." If there was no such intention, 200 would not have happened in two matches, it must be understood as a fact. If we want to do well in T20 in the future we have to have the intention. Bowlers, batters all have to move forward with an aggressive mindset.
Taskin reminded that he might collapse while playing like this, 'Some days he might collapse while showing such intent. We will accept this and move on. Not that I will live with fear. It will help us in future. Play cricket without the fear of failure. This intention will help us move forward.
Talking about the batting in the last match, Taskin said, 'The wicket was good, unfortunately the wicket fell quickly today. But the intent was the same as the previous two matches. Got runs then got out today unfortunately. In fact, we could have batted a little better, because we have that ability. Unfortunately that has happened. But our intention was to play with a positive mindset, to play aggressively. What a bad day it was.
