Liton`s milestones before going to Kolkata

Among them, Liton scored 2 thousand 319 runs in 38 Tests, 2 thousand 65 runs in 66 ODIs and 1 thousand 617 runs in 71 T20 matches. His number of centuries and half-centuries in three formats are 8 and 34 respectively. Besides, this wicketkeeper batsman of Tigers has scored 3 centuries in Tests and 5 centuries in ODIs.

It is known that Liton got leave to play IPL but he spent the rest after the match. In that case, he can join the Kolkata team today. Apart from Liton, Shakib Al Hasan was also supposed to play for Kolkata. However, the franchise requested them to withdraw the name due to the fear of not getting Shakib-Litton for Kolkata for the entire season. Responding to that invitation, Shakib is not stepping foot in this year's IPL. But Lytton, who got his first call-up, is different. Even if he gets a chance to play at least a few matches outside the international schedule, he wants to play for Kolkata.

Meanwhile, Liton became the sixth Bangladeshi to reach the milestone of 6,000 runs. Before that, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mohammad Ashraful entered the 6 Hazari club. Among them, the first three have crossed the 10,000 mark. Tamim scored 15 thousand 45, Mushfiq 14 thousand 43 and Shakib 13 thousand 885 runs in three formats.
