Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by six wickets

Delhi Capitals scored a hat-trick of losses without Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman. The team that lost in the first three matches did not make the eleven without Mustafiz today. However, Delhi could not win even with Bangladesh's star pacer. In another dramatic last-ball match, Mumbai Indians got their first win in the third match by 6 wickets.

Mumbai needed 5 runs in the last over bowled by Anrich Norkier. The South African fast bowler did not bowl well. Norkia gave only 3 runs to the two Australians Cameron Greene and Tim David with yorkers in the first five balls.

Norkia could not give yorker in such equation 2 runs from 1 ball. David took 2 runs after sending the ball towards long off. If David can complete the second run, then the topic of super over came from the voice of the commentators. Delhi captain David Warner could not throw the shoe. The ball went up a bit. By the time Porel broke the wicket with the ball in hand, David had steered the team safely to the port of victory. David was unbeaten on 13 off 11 balls and Green on 17 off 8 balls.

Delhi managed to give the Davids a target of 173 runs. The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan took Mumbai to 71 runs in 7.3 overs. Kishan, who was run out, scored 31 runs off 26 balls. Then Mumbai captain Rohit made a partnership of 68 runs with Tilak Varma. Tilak scored 41 runs off 29 balls with 4 sixes. Mumbai needed 34 off 25 balls when Tilak took a catch at deep midwicket off Mukesh Kumar to leave the team at 139.

After Mukesh's next ball, Suryakumar Yadav, who was in bad form, departed with another golden duck, Mumbai did not find the equation of 34 runs from 24 balls very difficult with 7 wickets in hand. Bangladesh's Mustafiz also contributed to the fact that it finally turned into a drama of the last ball.

The Delhi captain gave the ball to Mustafiz in the second over. However, this left-arm pacer will want to forget the over. Mumbai opener Ishan Kishan hit three consecutive fours off Mustafiz.

After giving away 13 runs in that over, Mustafiz came back brilliantly. Warner called him again in the 15th over. Rohit Sharma and Tilak Verma could only get 2 runs from Mustafiz's over which was cut in the first two balls.

In the next over, Mustafiz dismissed Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma despite hitting two fours. Mustafiz bowled a wide yorker. Rohit, who scored 65 runs from 45 balls, caught behind the wicket while playing that ball. Delhi's wicketkeeper Abhishek Porel jumped to the right and took a great catch. Rohit took the review to know if it was a bump ball. The decision did not change.

When Mustafiz came to bowl the last over in the 19th over, 20 runs were needed from 12 balls. Mumbai gave 2 runs in the first two balls. Mostafiz played two sixes in the last three balls. The fourth ball was a slower off-cutter, with Australian all-rounder Cameron Green hitting the first six over deep midwicket. Mostafiz also cut the last ball of the over, this time another Australian Tim David hit a six with a wide long on. Mustafiz started this year's IPL with 38 runs in 4 overs and 1 wicket.

This time Delhi captain David Warner's strike rate in IPL is being criticized. Warner picked up a fifty (51 off 47 balls) today but his strike rate of 108.51 will also be criticized. Akshar Patel hit 5 sixes and 4 fours in 25 balls before being bowled out for 172 in 19.4 overs. Warner's team scored 49 runs in the last 5 overs.

Batting first, Delhi started well. The opening pair scored 33 runs before Prithvi Shaw (15) was dismissed in the fourth over. Warner-Prithvi Shaw made a partnership of 33 runs from 22 balls. Delhi could not even try to make three pairs in between. In the sixth wicket, Warner-Akshar scored 67 runs from 35 balls. Warner's contribution to this pair is only 9 from 10 balls. Akshar alone picked up 54 off 25 balls. The pair were separated when Akshar was out on the first ball of the 19th over by Jason Behrendorff. Delhi lost a total of 4 wickets in that over including a run out. Piyush Chawla and Berendorf took 3 wickets each.
