Al-Nassr coach unhappy with Cristiano Ronaldo
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's time for Al-Nasr has been bittersweet. After scoring a couple of goals in a few consecutive matches, the Al-Nasr star has stumbled again. Last Sunday (April 9) the team drew goalless in the Saudi Pro League match. However, Ronaldo is being criticized more for missing easy opportunities. This time the coach of the team, Luis Garcia, did not hide his displeasure.
Ronaldo himself is upset because that match was a draw with Al Feiha, who are in the 11th place in the league table. So he lost his temper at the end of the match. Several times he got into arguments with opposing footballers. At the same time he left the field without a courtesy handshake.
His frustration is mainly due to missing an easy opportunity. He found the goalkeeper all alone. Touching his feet at the end of the match was enough, he missed such an opportunity. So far, CRSeven has scored 11 goals for the Saudi team.
Regarding the performance of the students in that match, Al-Nasr coach Garcia said, 'We drew in the match against Al Feiha. This result is not acceptable at all, I am very unhappy. I am also not satisfied with the performance of the players. While everyone played in the 5–0 win over Al Adalah, that performance against Feiha was lacking. There are still 7 matches left. We want to do well. The work is not difficult, everything is possible in football.
After such a result of the match, Al-Nasr fell three points behind Al Ittihad at the top with 56 points. Al-Feihar then made a joke about Ronaldo on his Twitter account. Ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, a picture of Messi playing chess face-to-face went viral. Basically Messi and Ronaldo shared it themselves. After Al-Nasr's match Feiha shared the photo edit. There, Feiha captain Sami Al Khaybari was placed in Messi's place. The caption reads, 'Checkmate.'
Earlier, in January this year, 38-year-old Ronaldo was brought to the team by Al-Nasr. In that transfer, the club set a record of paying Ronaldo an annual salary of 75 million dollars.
