IPL 2023 : First century by Harry Brook

He has played only 6 Tests for England so far. By playing these 6 Tests, Harry Brook has explained his race well. Brook averaged 80.90 in 6 Tests. The strike rate is also impressive, 98.77. However, the English batsman has not been able to do so well in ODIs and T20 Internationals. Scored 86 runs in 3 ODIs, 372 in 20 T20 Internationals.

Brooke did not start well for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this year's IPL. He scored only 29 runs in the first three matches (13, 3 and 13). But in the fourth match, Hyderabad got the real Brook. After losing the toss, Hyderabad managed to score 228 runs for 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, thanks to Brook's devastating century.

Brook scored an unbeaten 100 off 55 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes. This is the first century by any player in this year's IPL. Brooke, however, has previously scored a century in a recognized T20. Earlier, Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan was unbeaten on 99 runs.

Captain Aiden Markram scored the second highest individual run in Hyderabad's innings today. The South African batsman scored 50 runs off 26 balls with 2 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from this, Abhishek Sharma played an innings of 32 runs off 17 balls. Andre Russell took 3 wickets with 22 runs in 2.1 overs for Kolkata.
