Sylheti girl m u r d er e d in East London
A young woman of Mahmudpur village of Kalkalia Union of Jagannathpur Upazila of Sunamganj was murdered in East London.
East London police confirmed the incident but did not provide details. The young woman named Suma Begum (24) lived in East London.
Shee was missing since April 30. Police released his name and photo after confirming the murder. The police admitted to arresting a 45-year-old man on suspicion of murder, but did not confirm his relationship with Suma Begum.
The relatives of the deceased girl said that four years ago Suma Begum, daughter of the deceased Thakur Mia of Mahmudpur village of the upazila, got married to Talto Bhai, a resident of London. They have two children.
She lived with her husband and children in a third-floor flat in East London. He has been missing since April 30. When the matter was reported to the police, the police confirmed that the young woman was a victim of murder.
Popular television runner TV journalist ASM Masum, a resident of East London, told that the police have confirmed the murder of Suma Begum, the daughter of Jagannathpur, but have not yet confirmed the recovery of her body. An investigation is underway into local council litter bins around the River Thames.
The young woman's brother Abu Saleh, who is in the country, said that the incident is being investigated by the police. Nothing can be said without getting information from them.
