Direct Hajj flights from Sylhet start May 23

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will start direct Hajj flights from Osmani International Airport in Sylhet to Saudi Arabia from May 23 for the convenience of the pilgrims.
A total of seven direct flights will be operated from Sylhet to carry 2,976 pilgrims, considering the sufferings of them.
Among them, six flights will be operated on Sylhet-Jeddah route and one flight on Sylhet-Madinah route. Mansur Ahmed Bhuiyan, Biman’s Manager for Sylhet district, confirmed the matter on Tuesday (May 9).
Except May 23, other flights will be operated on June 3 on Sylhet-Madinah route and on June 6, 10, 17, 18 and 20 on Sylhet-Jeddah route, he said.
