Relief rain in Sylhet

After two days of heat wave, Sylhet has finally seen relief rain. The people of Sylhet were panting because of the heat. In the meantime relief returned to Sylhet in the rain.

It is raining with gusty winds in different parts of the district from 4:15 PM on Tuesday (May 16). Due to the rains, the residents of the city are getting relief from the sweltering heat in the cool air. As of writing the report, stormy winds and thunder are raining in various upazilas of the district.

Earlier on Tuesday (May 16) from 9 am in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department predicted rainfall in all parts of the country including Sylhet.

According to the forecast, many places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions may experience rain with gusty winds or rain with thunder.
