192 families are receiving gifts from the Prime Minister in Juri

192 more land and homeless families are getting semi-furnished houses of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's dream gift in Juri in Moulvibazar district. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially inaugurate the household transfer program to 117 beneficiary families on Wednesday (March 22). The upazila administration has already completed all the preparations for the land deeds and house transfer of these houses.

It is known that the number of A-class landless and homeless families in Juri upazila is 473. A total of 281 homeless families have already been provided houses and land papers in 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases. 117 cookhouses out of 192 constructed in the 4th phase of the project will be handed over to the beneficiary families on March 22. The government has spent 2 lakh 84 thousand 500 taka on the construction of each house.

Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Mansoor Ali said that Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the transfer of 117 houses out of 192 houses next Wednesday. For that purpose, we are continuing the overall supervision of the construction work. Already 100% construction work has been completed.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ratan Kumar Adhikari said that the construction work of the Paka Houses, a gift of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has always been monitored by the upazila administration. The beautiful houses are now just waiting for handover.

Upazila Nibarhi Officer Ranjan Chandra Dey said that all preparations have already been completed to make the program of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a success on March 22. In the 4th phase, out of total 192 houses, 117 houses will be handed over to landless and homeless families.
