SCC election: Mayoral candidate Babul`s video leaked

A video of Nazrul Islam Babul, the mayoral candidate of Jatiya Pati's in the Sylhet City Corporation election and convenor of the metropolitan Jatiya Party, has gone viral on Facebook. Since Monday (June 12) morning, he has been criticizing the social media by posting the 31-second video on Facebook. Some people have complained about it.

In the 31-second video, Nazrul Islam Babul can be seen eating breakfast sitting on a dining table chair. At this time, a woman from behind the camera uttered Munni's name and asked a question indicating a physical relationship. In response, Babul said, 'Hey father, what am I doing? That woman asked Babul again, are you doing Munni? Babul got angry saying how much I am doing. Then he got up from the chair, grabbed the woman's camera and started abusing her in obscene language. At one point, the woman threatened Babul by calling her an informer, and Babul responded by saying, "You are making a video." He kicks her stomach and abuses her....and the woman behind the camera repeatedly asks Munni a question??'

When such a video spread on social media, people from various categories including people from the political arena are raising questions about the character of Nazrul Islam Babul. Abdul Alim Tushar, the former General Secretary of Sylhet Metropolitan Chhatra League, wrote on his ID status, 'Munni ta ke Mr. Nazrul Islam Babul! What are you doing to Munni?'

Journalist Salman Farid writes, 'Sylhet's Munni and Barisal's drinking peak! Both are infamous!'

Various people are also seen criticizing by posting videos.

When Nazrul Islam called Babul's cell phone several times to inquire about this, he did not receive it.
