Sensational robbery in Sylhet: 3 robbers in RAB`s net

RAB-9 Sylhet has arrested 3 robbers including the mastermind of the dacoit gang involved in the controversial and sensational robbery case of Golapganj, Sylhet. On Sunday (March 19), RAB raided various places in Moulvibazar district and arrested these robbers. Rab-9 Sylhet informed this information in a press release on Monday (March 20).

According to the press release, last Friday (March 17) at around 02.10 am, the robbers robbed the house of victim Abdul Haque (64), a grocery store trader in village Masura (Barbari) of Vadeshwar Union of Golapganj. At that time, an unidentified group of 7-8 robbers of the collapsible gate tied the hands and feet of the victim and all his family members and robbed them of valuable gold ornaments, mobile phones and cash.

In this incident, last Saturday (March 18) evening, the victim filed a robbery case against 7-8 unknown people at Golapganj police station of Sylhet district. Later RAB-9 Sylhet started shadow investigation of this case. Strengthens intelligence activities. At one stage of the investigation, with the help of information technology and on the basis of intelligence information, the location of the robbers was identified.

Based on the intelligence received, a raiding team of RAB-9 Srimangal Camp, Moulvibazar conducted operations in various areas of Moulvibazar district last Sunday night and managed to arrest 3 members of the dacoit team including Nakul Das, the mastermind of the discussed robbery case.

The arrested are - Nakul Das (42) 2. Md. Jasim Uddin (32) 3. Hafiz Mia (39). RAB-9 also said that the arrested have been handed over to Golapganj police station of Sylhet district to take legal action. Note that multiple cases of weapons, theft and robbery are ongoing in different police stations of Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts in the name of the arrested robbers.
