25 March Genocide Day remembrance in Moulvibazar

On the occasion of the 25th March Genocide Day in Moulvibazar today Saturday (March 25) at 10 am, a book was dedicated to the mass grave on Shahmostafa road.
At this time, Member of Parliament Neshar Ahmad, Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria, Municipal Mayor Fazlur Rahman, former District Freedom Fighter Commander Jamal Uddin, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Sharif Uddin and others.
Brave freedom fighters, Awami League leaders, district police members, various government offices and public representatives paid tributes. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
In 1971, Pak army and Razakars killed sleeping workers in Sayarpur Brickyard on Manu River in the city. Later, their mutilated bodies were given a mass grave on Shah Mostafa Road.
