Sreemangal police recovered 3 stolen motorcycles

According to the sources of Sreemangal police station, a red Hero Splendor 100 cc motorcycle was stolen from the house of Tanveer Ahmed (42) of Biraimpur (College Road) in Sreemangal at around 8:30 pm on March 20. The victim filed a case at Sreemangal Police Station.

Shukkur Mia (27) is the son of deceased Achmat Ali of Birgaon village of Nabinagar police station. He is a permanent resident of Birgaon, police said. At this time, the stolen red HERO SPLENDAR 100 cc motorcycle is also available in Sreemangal.

The police also said that the arrested accused Sukkur Mia is widely known in the area as one of the active members of the inter-district motorcycle thieves gang. Meanwhile, the police interrogated Sukkur Mia and recovered two more stolen motorcycles from his house.

During preliminary interrogation, Sukkur Mia, who was arrested, confessed to the theft and revealed the names and addresses of his co-accused to the police.
