Two brothers died on the road in Baniachang

Two brothers were killed in a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw-tractor collision on their way back after performing Janaza in Baniachong Upazila of Habiganj. 3 more people of the same family were injured in this incident.

This incident took place in Bhatipara area of Habiganj-Baniachong road around 7 pm yesterday saturday.

The deceased are Abdul Moin (60) and Tajuddin (35), sons of Kalai Ullah of Thilapanja village of Baniachong upazila.

Baniachong Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ajay Chandra Dev said that Abdul Moin and 4 other members of his family left the house at noon to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law. After the funeral, they were returning home in a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in the evening. When the autorickshaw reached Bhatipara area, it collided with a tractor coming from the opposite direction. Two brothers died on the spot. 3 injured people were rescued and admitted to Habiganj Sadar Hospital.
