Meanwhile, Baralekha Upazila Awami League leaders and activists demand that Sultan Ahmad Hiron Environment Minister Md. Shahab Uddin "used" MP and recovered gold money by beating up a youth in Saturia police station. Even the Minister of Environment known as honest and decent. They also alleged that a group is conspiring to 'controversy' Shahab Uddin.

Recently, the video of the beating of 'gold smuggler' Dubai resident Sultan Ahmad Hiran in front of police station has gone viral. The incident took place in Saturia police station in August last year. The news of this incident was published in a national newspaper on March 24. In the report, Sultan was referred to as the 'leader of the gold smuggling ring'. After that, the commotion started over the incident.

Sultan Ahmad Hiron is the son of deceased Amin Ali of Kashemnagar village of Dakshinbhag Dakshin Union of Baralekha upazila. Sultan was arrested by the police at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in December last year in a gold smuggling case. He was recently released on bail. But the relatives claim that Sultan has gone to jail after being a victim of conspiracy.

After investigation, it is known that the name of the youth who was beaten up in the police station is Nazmul Islam. His house is in Satuaria police station of Manikganj. Nazmul came to the country from Dubai in August last year. At that time Sultan gave some gold to Nazmul. Sultan gave Nazmul a plane ticket in return. It was said that Nazmul would give the gold to Sultan's relative. But Namjul came to the country and instead of giving the gold to Sultan's relatives, he kept it for himself. Moulvibazar-1 Constituency MP and Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Sultan returned home from Dubai after a few days to recover gold. Shahab Uddin became Darsht. The minister asked the Saturia police to recover the gold legally. A few days later, the police identified Nazmul's location and brought him to the police station. On that day, Sultan Saturia went to the police station and beat Nazmul in front of the police. Later, the police could not recover the gold but resolved the matter by recovering around 15 lakh taka from Nazmul and giving it to Sultan.

According to a reliable source, Sultan has been involved in gold smuggling for a long time. He almost sent gold with people coming home from Dubai. In return, give them plane tickets or money.

Sultan's elder brother Jubo League leader Farooq Mia said that Baralekha Upazila Jubo League general secretary Kamal Hossain took them to the minister. He said, Sultan had sent gold from abroad with a young man from Saturia for his wife and my sister's daughter. It was said that the young man would give us the gold in the country. But he didn't. He left the gold with him. His phone was also found switched off. After a few days, the Sultan came to the country and went to Shahab Uddin, the minister of our area, and asked for help in recovering the gold. Upazila Jubo League secretary Kamal took us to the minister. I was too. Later, the minister found out that the gold was legitimate and asked Saturia Thana police to give us legal assistance. Although the police could not recover the gold, the matter was resolved by recovering Tk 15 lakh from the young man. He claims that his brother Sultan is not a gold smuggler. He was systematically made a gold smuggler.

A few leaders of upazila Awami League said, Environment Minister Md. Everyone knows Shahab Uddin as a simple, modest person. Anyone can meet him. can take pictures He stood beside anyone in danger. Cooperate. Now, if someone commits a crime by taking pictures with the minister or defaming the minister's name, then the minister is not responsible for that. They said that a group is making various conspiracies to make the minister controversial. The picture of the minister with the Sultan that has gone viral was taken last year. When asked the reason for taking Sultan to the Environment Minister Kamal Hossain, general secretary of Baralekha Upazila Jubo League, said, "Last year I went to Dhaka for a personal work." Then I met Sultan and his brother Farooq. At that time, the Sultan said that he had sent gold to the country with a young man from abroad. But the young man kept the gold to himself instead of giving it to his relatives. Then they want to go to our local MP Environment Minister Shahab Uddin for cooperation in gold recovery. I also went with them after hearing the incident. The minister heard the incident and asked the police for cooperation after seeing the valid documents of the gold.
