1048 students of Moulvibazar are receiving the PM`s gift tab
One thousand and forty eight meritorious students are receiving the gift tab of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Moulvibazar. Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan, Police Superintendent Mohammad Zakaria and statistics officers officially handed over the tabs to 48 students under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Varnali Pal at the Deputy Commissioner's office today Thursday (March 30).
Deputy Director of Local Government Mallika Dey, Additional District Commissioner (General) Prabhanshu Som Mahan, Additional District Magistrate Shahina Akhter, Deputy Director of District Statistics Department Saurabh Pal Mithun, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Sharif Uddin, District Child Affairs Officer Jasim Uddin Masud and head teachers of various schools.
Sources from District Statistics Office, Moulvibazar informed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given guidelines for handing over two lakh tablets used in Census and Household Census 2022 to meritorious students across the country. In the light of that instruction, meritorious students of class 9th and 10th of all government and secondary schools under MPO of Moulvibazar district are being given.
Students are expected to acquire knowledge of modern information and communication technology with the tabs.
