Distribution of PM’s gift tabs among students in Rajnagar

A total of 114 meritorious students of 9th and 10th class of 19 schools including government and MPO secondary level of Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar are being given the Prime Minister's gift tab.

Upazila Administration and Statistics Office organized this tab distribution program on Tuesday (April 11) at 11:30 am in Upazila Parishad conference room. Students are also happy to receive the gift tab given by the Prime Minister.

According to the relevant sources, the data collection activities of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics' sixth population and household census-2022 are conducted through the use of digital tab. These tabs are organized as a gift from the Prime Minister to the first three meritorious students studying in class IX and X of secondary level. Tabs were distributed among the students of 5 educational institutions of the upazila on the first day. Later, the students of other institutions will also get these tabs, said the Upazila Statistics Office.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Farzana Akhtar Mita presided over the event and Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Yunus was the guest. Rajnagar Portius Model High School Principal Md. was present among others. Zillur Rahman, upazila statistical investigator Syed Minhaj Uddin Ahmad, statistical assistant Abhijit Dutt Mithun, officials of various institutions, teachers, journalists and students.
