Distribution of VGF rice among 6,500 people in Sreemangal

Free 10 kg of VGF rice has been distributed among the poor people living in Sreemangal Municipality of Moulvibazar.

These rices are distributed on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr under the humanitarian assistance program in the financial year 2022-2023 under the initiative of Sreemangal Municipality and implemented by the Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management.

Today Thursday (April 13) at 12 noon in the municipal premises as the chief guest Md. Abdus Shaheed MP distributed rice among 4 thousand 6 hundred 21 poor people.

The mayor of the municipality said in the rice distribution ceremony. Under the chairmanship of Mohsin Mia Madhu, Sreemangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajeev Mahmud Mithun, Sreemangal Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Asaduzzaman, officer in charge of Sreemangal police station. Jahangir Hossain Sardar, Executive Engineer of Sreemangal Municipality. Zahirul Islam, Sreemangal Police Station (OC) Operation AKM Fazlul Haque, Municipal Council Mir MA Salam and Md. Alkash Mia and others.
