Hindu youth in Nabiganj converted to Islam

Enchanted by the beauty of Islam, a young man named Swapan, a Hindu, accepted Islam in Nabiganj. He was inspired by the ideals of Islam and accepted Islam of his own accord.

His name is Swapan Sheel, after converting to Islam his current name is Mohammad Swapan Ahmad. He is the son of Dilip Sheel of Noagaon village of Kurshi union of Nabiganj upazila.

He converted to Islam through Affidavit No. 3326 at Habiganj Notary Public Office on May 3. Earlier the Kalima was recited by a Maulana.

Swapan said, after listening to various waj meetings and learning about Islam from the surrounding Muslims, his firm belief was born that Islam is a pure religion, a religion of peace and a religion of truth.

Islam is the only religion that can give people peace and freedom in this life and the hereafter. So inspired by the ideals of Islam, he accepted Islam.
