Rail communication with Sylhet resumes after 15hour
Rail communication has been normalized almost 15 hours after two coaches of Sylhet-bound Udayan Express derailed at Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, leaving from Chittagong.
After the derailment of the coach at around 5 am on Saturday (May 20), rail service was restored at 7.40 pm. Kulaura Railway Station Master Roman Ahmed confirmed this information.
It is to be noted that two coaches of the Udayan Express derailed in Lauachhara National Park area of Kamalganj around 5 am on Saturday morning. As a result, train communication with Sylhet across the country was stopped.
