Mayor Cup football Tournament inaugurated in Moulvibazar
Mayor's Cup Football Tournament-2023 has started at Moulvibazar Government High School ground.
District Awami League President and Member of Parliament of Moulvibazar Sadar-Rajnagar Constituency Neshar Ahmad inaugurated the game yesterday Saturday (June 3) at 4 pm under the chairmanship of Mayor Fazlur Rahman.
Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Sports Association General Secretary Michabahar Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Varnali Pal were special guests in the inaugural function.
District Football Association President Aktaruzzaman, Municipal Awami League General Secretary M Emdadul Haque Mintu, Panel Mayor Nahid Hossain, Municipal Councilors Faisal Ahmad and Saleh Ahmad Pappu and others were present.
16 teams of the country participated in the game. In the opening match, Shaistaganj Football Academy, Habiganj vs Narsingdi District Sports Welfare Association faced each other.
