A new guest was born in the Wildlife Service Foundation
A new guest was born in Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation. The mother is a Chitral Harini of this Seva Foundation. A Chitral deer cub was born at Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation, a private initiative, at Sreemangal in Moulvibazar on Friday (March 24) morning.
Director of Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation Sajal Deb confirmed the truth of the information and said that Chitral deer are very good pets. The Chitral deer gives birth to a single cub after a gestation period of 210-225 days. Baby deer drink milk for up to 6 months.
He said, pet deer eat different types of vegetables. Vegetables such as cabbage, cabbage, beans etc. are very fun to eat. Chitral deer breeds in our country at different times. But before the monsoons, when the green grass turns green and the forest is covered with saplings and vines, that is the actual time of child birth.
Sajal Deb also said, Major General Ruhul Amin gifted the Chitral deer to our Seva Foundation when he was the chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board long ago. This deer gave birth to five more cubs while we were here.
It should be noted that Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation is a shelter for injured and sick animals established by private initiative. Injured animals rescued from different places of animals that have left the forest and migrated to the locality are brought here for treatment and made well. Later it was again released in the forest.
