Municipality`s support to affected by the fire in Moulvibazar
The municipality and business organization Bilas have given financial and food assistance to the families affected by the fire in the Shyamoli area of Moulvibazar city.
Mayor Fazlur Rahman handed over essential items like rice, dal, oil, onion etc. to the 4 affected families on Tuesday (April 25) afternoon. Municipal Council Nahid Hossain, Syed Salim Hok and Advocate Partha Sarthi Pal were present at this time.
Yesterday Monday (April 24) the municipality gave 20 thousand to 80 thousand taka and a less affected family was given 10 thousand taka.
Today, four families of 6,000 each have been given 24,000 rupees by Bilas. Apart from this, the owner of the house Siraj Uddin Ahmed, a London expatriate, gave 5000 to 20000 cash to four families and 2000 to other less affected families.
It is to be noted that last Sunday (April 23) a fire incident occurred in Shyamoli area of Moulvibazar city at around 8 pm. In this, everything of the four families was burnt to ashes.
