Nusrat sui-cide by arguing with her mother in Moulvibazar

A student of Government Women's College committed sui-cide in Moulvibazar after an argument with her mother. The incident took place on Sunday night at a house called Lake Mahal in Paschim Girzapara of Moulvibazar city.
The name of the student who committed suicide is Nusrat Jahan (22). She is the daughter of Askar Mia of Jagannathpur village in Rahimpur union of Kamalganj upazila. They lived in a rented house in Moulvibazar.
It is known that Nusrat's mother disciplined her for being inattentive in studies and lying on her mobile all day. Meanwhile, Nusrat got into an argument with her mother. Later Nusrat went to her room in shame, closed the door, wrapped the curtain with the ceiling fan and hanged herself.
Later, the mother shouted and got no response. Local people broke the door of the room and found the girl hanging from the fan. She was rescued and taken to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital. The doctor on duty declared her dead.
Moulvibazar Model Police Station OC (Investigation) Moshiur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the body has been sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy. A case of wrongful death has been registered in the police station.
