4 missing children rescued from Sylhet Railway Station

Four missing children have been rescued from Dakshin Khozarkhala Colony of Dakshina Surma in Sylhet Nagar. They are kidnapped by a woman who says they are going to Jaflong. The police also arrested that woman.

The arrested woman's name is Maymuna (25). She is the daughter of Abdul Hakim of Laksam Hajipur area of Comilla.

Last Friday (May 5) at noon, Maymuna disappeared with 4 children from the tenant colony of South Khojarkhala to Jaflong. Later on Saturday (May 6) at 7 am the four missing children were rescued from the Sylhet railway station.

As the children were rescued, they belonged to the South Khojarkhala area of South Surma.

According to police sources, 4 children went missing from the rented house of Khojarkhala in South Surma on Friday at 12 noon. The child's parents informed the police. The four children were taken away from their home by their neighbor Maymuna Jaflong on a trip. Meanwhile, Maymuna took a train from Sylhet railway station with the children to Laksam in Comilla. Later they brought them to Sylhet in the return train with the efforts of the police. Maymuna, the abductor, was arrested from the Sylhet railway station after rescuing the 4 missing children at 7 am on Saturday.

Confirming the matter, Jalal Uddin, in-charge of South Surma Lawai Police Box, said, 'We collected the information after learning about the missing 4 children. Efforts were made to rescue them, in which we succeeded. After that the abductor Maymuna was arrested. He is being interrogated. Legal action is being taken against him.
