Moulvibazar Municipality will launch hotline number service

Survey work has started for the construction of Smart Moulvibazar Municipality. Hotline numbers will be launched for citizen services. Mayor Fazlur Rahman gave this information in a press conference at the boardroom of the municipality on Sunday (May 8). At this time, the mayor discussed with the journalists about the preparation of the budget for the next financial year.

Smart Moulvibazar Municipality
The mayor said that the survey work related to holding tax, trade license, water and construction is going on for the construction of smart Moulvibazar municipality. Through this all the data of the municipal area will be collected. Round the clock hotline numbers will be launched to serve the citizens. Citizens' problems will be solved immediately. In case of delay, the rationale for the delay will be given and the time frame within which it will be resolved.

Share neighborhood-mahalla will also be covered by CCTV
Mayor Fazlur Rahman said that all neighborhoods of the municipal area will be covered by CC cameras. The entire municipality will come under digital services.

The mayor said that the 4th ward of the city has come under the coverage of CC cameras. Work will start soon to bring CC cameras in Bansree area. In this way the whole city will come under the coverage of CC cameras. Maintenance cost will be paid by local residents. The municipality will oversee the matter.

At that time, NTV District Representative and Moulvibazar Press Club General Secretary SM Umed Ali said that once a CC camera was given to Chaumohana. But they are destroyed by 'jinbhut' (vicious cycle). Later they were not maintained.

Hasanat Kamal, district representative of BTV and editor of I News, said that important points of the city, Chaumohana, Kusumbagh, Berirpar and Dhaka bus stand area should be brought under the coverage of CC cameras.

Initiatives to reform Berry Lake
Mayor Fazlur Rahman said that a project has been submitted for the renovation and beautification of Berry Lake. Also designed. There will be no dirt on the road. Point-to-point litter bins will be provided again at each point. He said, there is no dirt in any drain of the city. There is no garbage on the road. Anyone who comes to Moulvibazar appreciates.

Initiatives to alleviate traffic congestion
Traffic congestion is being resolved. No CNG-powered auto-rickshaws will carry passengers as public transport within the city. TomTom (CNG powered Easybike) will transport passengers within the city. There will be two colored tomtoms. One day one color, another day another color tomtom will run alternately. Additional fare cannot be charged.
