RAB arrest 4 Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqia militants in Sylhet
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four members of the new militant organization 'Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya' from the Barashala area of Sylhet Airport. RAB said that they were arrested after the operation on Monday night.
According to RAB-9 Sylhet's media branch, Abdullah Maymoon, Shura member of 'Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya' and head of Dawati branch, is among the four arrested.
According to RAB, they are all militants trained in the mountains. On the basis of intelligence, a team of RAB-9 arrested the militants by conducting raids in Barashala area of Sylhet Airport police station overnight. RAB will give detailed information in this regard at the headquarters of RAB Sylhet at 11:30 in the morning.
