World No Tobacco Day-2023 celebrated in Moulvibazar
World No Tobacco Day-2023 was celebrated in Moulvibazar under the theme 'Tobacco Free Environment, Healthy Bangladesh'.
A rally took place in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Wednesday (31 May) morning. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the district administration. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Urmi Binte Salam spoke as the chief guest.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Jalal Uddin Chowdhury Murshed, Mayor Fazlur Rahman of Moulvibazar Municipality, Additional District Magistrate Shahina Akhtar, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mohsin were special guests in the discussion meeting.
District Information Officer Anwar Hossain, District Primary Education Officer Shamsur Rahman, Press Club General Secretary Panna Dutta and others spoke.
Officials of various district level offices, journalists, teachers and students of various schools were present in the discussion meeting.
