Sylhet City Polls: Anwaruzzaman 118614, Babul 50321 in 190 centers
Polling for Sylhet City Corporation elections was conducted peacefully. Polling took place in Sylhet on Wednesday (June 21) from 8 am to 4:30 pm without any untoward incident. Although the polling time is up to 4 pm, due to queues of voters inside some centers, polling took place after 4 pm.
Results started coming from 4:30 PM. Results from 190 centers are available so far. Anwaruzzaman got 118614 votes for the boat symbol and Nazrul Islam Babul got 50321 votes for the plow symbol.
The difference in votes between the two is 68 thousand 293.
