Nephew beaten by two uncles, died in hospital

Two uncles came from abroad and beat up the nephew and seriously injured him. Later, injured nephew Raju Mia (22) died while undergoing treatment. This incident happened in Kagabala Union of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila.

Local UP Chairman Eamon Mustafa arrested two accused uncles Shah Alam (34) and Zakir Hossain (36) and handed them over to the police.

The deceased Raju Mia is the son of Hadis Mia of Satbak village in Kagabala Union. He was a tomtom driver by profession. Father and son used to drive TomTom together.

Local people said that Raju's uncle Shah Alam and Zakir Hossain live in Dubai in the Middle East. Rumor has it that Shah Alam's wife is having an extramarital affair with Raju. Shah Alam was angry about this.

People of the village said that Shah Alam and Zakir Hossain came to the country without informing anyone on Monday (March 27). They went to a hotel instead of going home. Raju was attacked by two cousins at Winnigram in Union on Wednesday (March 29) afternoon. He kept beating with a rod. Meanwhile, the local people stopped them. Rescued Raju. At that time the faces of the two brothers were masked so that they could not be recognized.

UP Chairman Eamon Mustafa told Eye News, considering the incident, it seems that the two brothers were angry with the nephew. Come to the country with a plan. He went to the hotel instead of going home. During the attack, local UP members resisted the two brothers who were angry with the people present. Injured Raju was first sent to Moulvibazar 250 bed hospital. When the condition worsened, he was later sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital. Raju died there around 3 pm on Wednesday.

The UP chairman said, after the attack, I had seized their passports so that they could not flee abroad. In connection with the death of Raju, two brothers were arrested and handed over to the police station.

Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station OC Harunur Rashid Chowdhury said that the two accused have been detained by the police. Charge sheet will be issued through legal process.

Meanwhile, it is known that preparations for the case are underway on Thursday (March 30) night. Nee Ha Te's father hadith will file the case as a plaintiff.
