Police returned the missing child to him family in Moulvibazar
Moulvibazar Sadar Model Thana Police handed over a missing child named Kausar Mia (6) to him family in Moulvibazar city.
On Monday (April 3) at noon, the officer-in-charge of Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station handed over the child to her guardian through the Women, Children, Elderly and Disabled Help Desk.
On Sunday at around 10:30 p.m a CNG driver brought the child to the police station after seeing the child Kausar Mia wandering alone on the road in Paschim Bazar Butter Mor area of Moulvibazar city.
SI Shiuli Rani Dey, officer of the Woman Child Aged and Disabled Desk, questioned the child about her name and address. But as the child Kausar Mia could not say her name and address correctly, Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station SI Ratan Kumar Halder posted a picture of the child from a Facebook account called 'Beat Police'. Later, the child's father contacted Moulvibazar Sadar police station through this Facebook post.
On Monday after verification, the child Kausar, father- Monir Mia, mother- Kalpi Begum, Sang- Kazipur, Thana- Balaganj, district- Sylhet was handed over to his father. The child's father said that they are currently living in Osmaninagar area. Yesterday, Sunday, Kausar got on the bus and came to Moulvibazar without telling anyone. Later they found the son after seeing the Facebook post.
