3 gamblers arrested in Moulvibazar
In a special operation of Moulvibazar District Intelligence Branch (DB), 3 gamblers were arrested with gambling equipment from the gambling hall.
On the basis of confidential information yesterday (April 11) a team of DB Police along with SI Tofazzal Hossain conducted a raid in Dighalgji area of Chandnighat Union of Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station at 9:15 PM. Sufian Mia (45), Suleiman (45) and Anu Mia (50) were arrested from Mahmud Mia hill in the area.
52 cards used in gambling and 1 thousand 650 taka in cash were seized from them.
A case has been registered under the Gambling Act at Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station against the persons arrested in the incident.
