Fakhrul`s ‘invitation’ Mayor Arif in Dhaka!

Sylhet City Mayor Ariful Haque is not returning to Sylhet from London, but to Dhaka. BNP party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam's Dhaka 'forman' came before Arif left London.

Arif is scheduled to meet party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday.

The 'signal' that Mayor Arif spoke about in front of Tariq Rahman at Juba Dal's Iftar in London, the answer to that signal can be found in the meeting with Mirza Fakhrul. Such a glimpse has been found in the party's reliable sources.

Sources of BNP party say, "Sisik Mayor Ariful Haque's demand for Central BNP Vice President is being given to him. Arif will reach Sylhet from Dhaka on Sunday afternoon or Monday with the responsibility of the top post of the party. If the party post is confirmed, Arif will not be elected as an independent candidate. If Arif returns to Sylhet with a party position, then a new circle will be created in the politics of Sylhet Sadar.

Arif has intended to be elected from Sylhet-1 seat. Tariq Rahman asked him to work. He said, time will show. Here (in Sylhet), Arif will be a tough challenger to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's advisor Khandaker Muktadir. If BNP participates in the parliamentary elections, then it will be seen who will get the 'red signal' and who will get the 'green signal'.

Meanwhile, it is assumed that if any rebel candidate from Awami League in Sylhet election will get the support of Mayor Arif secretly.

On the other hand, it is heard that BNP leader Shamsuzzaman Zaman, who voluntarily resigned from BNP, may also be elected. In that case, Arif's role will become a big controller for Sylhet city elections.
