Former Chairman of Sreemangal Municipality MA Rahim no more
MA Rahim, one of the organizers of the liberation war and former chairman of Sreemangal Municipality, is no more. He died yesterday (April 19) at 11:40 pm while undergoing treatment.
The first namaz funeral of late MA Rahim will be held today Thursday (April 20) at 3 pm at Sreemangal Victoria School ground and the second namaz funeral will be held at his village home Ramnagar Shahi Eidgah ground.
MA Rahim was one of the organizers of the liberation war. He was the founding president of Srimangal Chhatra League, member of Moulvibazar District Awami League and former chairman of Sreemangal Municipality in his colorful political life.
Moulvibazar District Awami League expressed deep grief over the death of MA Rahim.
District Awami League, Moulvibazar Deputy Office Secretary Advocate Nikhil Ranjan Dash said that in a condolence message, Moulvibazar District Awami League President and Member of Parliament Neshar Ahmad and General Secretary and District Parishad Chairman Michbahur Rahman have expressed deep grief and sorrow. Deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Moulvibazar Municipality Mayor Fazlur Rahman expressed deep grief over the death of the late leader and condoled with the bereaved family.
