Lightning kills 3 in Sunamganj
3 people died due to lightning in Jawabazar Union of Chatak Upazila of Sunamganj District. On Sunday (April 23) morning, 3 people were killed by lightning in Chatak Upazila, Chatak Thana Assistant Superintendent of Police Circle Ranjoy Chandra Mallik confirmed the truth.
The deceased are Mahim Mia (13), son of Hosam Mia of Debergaon village, Chatak upazila of Sunamganj district, Arsh Ali (60), an old man of Barakapan village and Abdus Samad (45), son of Golam Mostafa of Chardurlav village of Chramhalla union.
The doctor on duty at the local Kaitak hospital confirmed their death. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Chatak-Dwara) Circle Ranjoy Chandra Mallick confirmed the fact that 3 people died due to lightning.
