Maldives tops the list of honeymoon destinations
Every country in the world has many beautiful places to visit, its own culture, culture. However, some countries have become tourist destinations due to their geographical location, standard of living and government management.
Maldives tops the list of the world's most popular honeymoon destinations. The country topped the list with over 3.5 million views under the hashtag. The turquoise white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons of Maldives have always been a tempting destination for tourists from all over the world.
Maldives has also recently won several awards at the World Travel Awards. From 2021 to 2023, Maldives won the title of 'World's Leading Destination' at the World Travel Awards for the third time in a row.
A one-day stay at a resort in the Maldives costs between $100 and $150. A good resort costs $200 to $300 per day. 700 to 800 dollars are also required in five-star resorts. Luxury resorts cost more. Still many tourists come to the island nation.
Expatriate Bangladeshis say that there is no compromise in tourist services in Maldives. Sanitation of food in hotel-restaurants is mandatory. Government food inspectors oversee everything. They warn first if they get something out of date or bad. If there is no improvement, the government agencies close the business and file a case in court.
According to the Ministry of Tourism of Maldives, more than 400,000 tourists visited the country till March 11. Maldives Ministry of Tourism aims to attract an average of one lakh tourists per month. According to the local media, currently the most tourists coming to Maldives are from Russia. Next is India, although India was the top last year.
Statistics show that 1 lakh 72 thousand 499 tourists visited the country in January and 1 lakh 77 thousand 914 tourists in February. This is an increase of 25.6 percent over the same period last year.
The island nation of Maldives has 168 resorts, 891 guesthouses, 153 safaris and 13 hotels for tourists. At present there are 60 thousand 236 tourists in these places. Accommodation in Maldives is convenient, on an average more than six thousand tourists visit Maldives every day.
